Production Technician- Build and test complex assemblies used in superconducting magnets, working closely with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Requires at least 3 years of mechanical or electrical assembly experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to follow detailed procedures and drawings.
- Supports the development and commercialization of new products by assisting with prototype builds, process monitoring, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance across various technical areas.
- Requires at least 5 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical and electrical assembly, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
- Supports R&D and Production teams by performing fiber splicing, testing, and integration of optical fibers into complex systems.
- Supports the testing and inspection of new systems under the guidance of experienced field leads, contributing to the development of commercial fusion energy.
- Requires hands‑on experience, adaptability, and a willingness to work in industrial environments.
- Supports the fabrication, testing, and installation of high‑power RF components for CFS’s fusion energy systems.
- The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in mechanical and electrical assembly, RF testing, and troubleshooting.
Salary
: $30 - $41 an hour (full‑time position + equity + benefits)
