CNC Grinder Setup Machinist-Programmer (Aerospace)
Full-time direct‑hire position on 1st or 2nd shift at an aerospace precision machining facility near Burlington, MA. Competitive compensation and benefits, including full medical coverage offered by some clients.
Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate Fanuc‑controlled CNC surface grinders, with a focus on Okamoto models.
- Operate and troubleshoot machines, performing minor edits to programming as needed.
- Communicate with machines using Okamoto conversational commands.
- Train and mentor other machinists, an important qualification.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure high quality and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of experience operating Fanuc‑controlled surface grinders.
- Experience with Okamoto machines preferred.
- Strong programming, setup, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to train others.
- Flexibility to work either 1st or 2nd shift.
