Entry Level Manufacturing Production Technician

Poly6 is seeking an Entry Level Manufacturing Production Technician to support the production of advanced polymer and composite materials. In this hands-on role, you will operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, follow detailed work instructions, and perform in-process inspections to ensure safety, quality, and consistency. You'll assist with mixing and preparing materials, recording production data, and helping troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues.

Working closely with engineers and scientists in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you'll learn modern manufacturing methods and help scale innovative materials from lab to full production.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing equipment for material production
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions accurately
• Measure, mix, and prepare raw materials for production runs
• Perform in-process quality checks and basic testing on materials and products
• Record production data, batch information, and inspection results
• Assist with basic equipment setup, changeovers, and routine maintenance tasks
• Identify and report safety, quality, or equipment issues promptly
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and operators to support process improvements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with EHS standards
• Support trial runs and scale-up activities for new materials and processes
