Laboratory Testing Technician​/Food Technologist

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Testing Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located Burlington, MA 01803. Details of the position are as follows:

• Pay: $26/Hour
• 1 year assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
• Monday – Friday (1st shift)

• The Testing Technician is responsible for preparing formulations on the benchtop, roasting coffee, packing samples, sieving powder materials, and supporting ongoing lab work.
• This role supports product development, quality evaluation, and data reporting through hands-on lab work and strong documentation practices.

• Prepare benchtop formulations, including accurately measuring and weighing ingredients, blending, and packing into single-serve portions.
• Roast coffee in accordance with established protocols
• Support powder-based lab activities, including sieving bulk materials, cleaning lab equipment, and supporting measurement work
• Supporting coffee processing lab work, including conducting measurements of moisture and degassing behavior in accordance with established protocols
• As needed, brew samples using company Brewers and conduct testing on formulations both prior to brewing and on finished beverages.

• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, with Food Science or Engineering preferred
• Relevant experience in Food and Beverage Industry. Experience with Coffee and Coffee Beverages is a plus
• Basic understanding of Good Lab and Manufacturing Practices, and Food Safety Regulatory Standards.
