Creative Director

Wellness Pet Company is seeking a Creative Director to define and elevate how the brand shows up across every touchpoint.

• Define and elevate how Wellness shows up in the world.
• Translate brand strategy, consumer understanding, and business priorities into distinctive creative ideas and expressions that build the Wellness brand and drive the business.
• Set a clear creative point of view for Wellness and lead its expression across brand identity, packaging, campaigns, content, digital, social, retail, innovation, and emerging consumer touchpoints.
• Collaborate closely with the CMO
  , Brand, and Integrated Marketing teams.
• Lead external creative and design agency partners.
• Identify the creative problem, sharpen the strategy, and inspire better solutions rather than only reacting to briefs.
• Articulate the thinking behind the work, build a compelling creative narrative, and present and defend recommendations to the CEO and executive leadership team.

• 12+ years of progressive creative leadership experience, ideally combining world-class creative/design agency experience with senior in-house leadership for a consumer brand.
• A portfolio showing exceptional creative thinking and execution across brand identity, packaging, campaigns, and integrated consumer experiences.
• Deep experience building and evolving consumer brands, ideally in CPG, food, wellness, beauty, lifestyle
  , or another highly design- and brand-driven category.
• Ability to translate brand and business strategy into creative strategy and creative expression.
• Experience leading major brand identity, packaging, or design-system work across complex portfolios.
• Proven experience leading external creative and design agencies, with a track record of inspiring partners to produce their best work.
• Outstanding creative judgment and taste, with the ability to explain why something works, not just rely on instinct.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and visual storytelling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop persuasive presentations and influence CEO and C-suite audiences with confidence.
• Comfort operating without an obvious answer by using strategy, judgment, and creativity to establish a clear path forward.
• Collaborative leadership style with confidence to hold a strong point of view without making the process about ego.
• Deep curiosity about consumers, culture, design, and how great brands are built.

• Team is based out of the Burlington, Massachusetts office
• Must live within or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance from the Burlington office

• $162,900 to $247,600 per year (full-time)
• Range reflects anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational equity
• Compensation may vary within the range based on professional background, experience, operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law
• Full compensation details will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer and may include eligibility for a bonus program
