• Schedule: 36 hours/week (72 hours biweekly guaranteed; excludes on-call)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (Night Shift RN)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (night weekends may include Fri/Sat/Sun)
• Floating: Expected; may float in 4-hour blocks to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units
• Patient Ratios: Typically 1:3–5

• Experience: Level 1 trauma experience preferred; may be required for first-time travelers
• EMR: Epic experience required
• License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state requirements apply)
• Certifications: BLS (AHA) required; ACLS (AHA) preferred; NIHSS preferred
• Testing/Training: Day-one pass/fail skills testing;
  Relias practice tests available
• Eligibility: Must not have worked at this facility within the past 6 months (including prior perm, per diem, or contract work)

• Provide safe nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients, including continuous cardiac monitoring and timely escalation of clinical changes
• Manage patient assignments within expected ratios while maintaining strong prioritization and time-management on the night shift
• Float as needed to support throughput and patient care needs across boarding/hold areas (e.g., ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, medication administration, patient education, and discharge readiness
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Epic in accordance with unit standards and hospital policy
• Maintain compliance with patient safety protocols, telemetry standards, and evidence-based nursing practice
