Registered Nurse - Infusion Center, Burlington Lahey Hospital & Medical Center's Infusion Centers in Burlington (41 Mall Road) and Peabody (1 Essex Center Drive) provide exceptional outpatient infusion services, including chemotherapy, blood product transfusions, and specialty medications. Nurses work with patients managing cancer, blood disorders, and chronic illnesses in a highly specialized, supportive environment.
Position Summary Under the direction of nursing leadership, the Registered Nurse delivers high quality, patient centered care consistent with the Lahey Clinic Professional Practice Model, the Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act, and ANA Standards of Practice. This role emphasizes clinical excellence, continuity of care, patient and family education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, while coordinating services across the continuum in a fast paced infusion setting.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities Provide safe, individualized nursing care based on patient needs and age‑specific considerations
Perform comprehensive patient and family assessments
Develop and evaluate culturally competent plans of care Administer IV medications, blood products, injections, and specialty therapies
Educate patients and families on treatments and preventive care Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
Delegate and supervise care in accordance with MA Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards
Maintain clinical competency and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of a state‑approved and/or accredited school of nursing
BSN strongly preferred
Licensure & Certification:
Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, 4 plus years preferred
Hematology/Oncology experience strongly preferred.
Skills:
Strong clinical and technical nursing skills

This role is ideal for experienced oncology or infusion RNs looking for stability, professional growth, and impactful patient care. Pay Range: $37.00 - $95.37
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
