Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | 72 Hours Biweekly Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 Holiday Shifts Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with acute injuries, medical emergencies, and trauma in a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department
- Perform thorough patient assessments and document care accurately using electronic health record systems
- Administer and electronically record medications delivered to patients in accordance with facility protocols
- Deliver timely, high-quality care across a large, state-of-the-art Emergency Department including fast-track, behavioral health, and private treatment areas
- Collaborate with an experienced, multidisciplinary ED team to manage high-acuity patient populations
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department environment
- Familiarity with behavioral health patient care within an ED setting
- Work in a newly built, spacious state-of-the-art Emergency Department featuring 44 beds across over 45,000 square feet, an on-site imaging suite, pharmacy, fast-track area, and dedicated behavioral health suite
- Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly on a 13-week contract assignment at a Level 1 Trauma Center
