Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Burlington, MA

Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 Holiday Shifts Required

• Provide immediate, high-acuity nursing care to patients presenting with accidents, trauma, and medical emergencies in a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document care using electronic health record systems
• Electronically record and administer medications in accordance with facility protocols
• Deliver care across a large, state-of-the-art Emergency Department including fast-track, behavioral health, and private treatment areas
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes in a high-volume ED environment

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system

• Experience working in a high-volume, large-scale Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with behavioral health patient care within an ED environment

• Work in a spacious, state-of-the-art Emergency Department featuring 44 beds across over 45,000 square feet with modern amenities including an imaging suite, pharmacy, fast-track area, and behavioral health suite
• Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly on a 13-week contract assignment
