Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Level 1 trauma experience and a MA RN license.

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA)
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months (perm, per diem, or contract) to be considered

• Work in a newly built, state-of-the-art Emergency Department at a Level 1 trauma center
• 44-bed unit spanning over 45,000 square feet with imaging suite, pharmacy, fast-track area, behavioral health suite, and private treatment rooms
• Care for patients experiencing accidents or medical emergencies requiring immediate attention
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• 2 holiday shifts required
• Uses Epic EMR for patient assessment, care documentation, and medication administration
• No floating or charge nurse responsibilities required
• Provide direct emergency care to patients with acute medical conditions or trauma injuries
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Holiday coverage required for 2 assigned holiday shifts
• Excessive time off requests will not be considered, especially around the holidays
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
