Actual start date is typically 3-4 weeks from time the offer is received. Start dates are determined based on facility needs and credentialing requirements.

• Ambulatory infusion center within a hospital setting with 25 infusion chairs
• Serves adult patients with hematologic, oncologic, or medical diagnoses requiring outpatient infusion services
• Sees approximately 60-110 patients per day, with each nurse assigned 2-3 infusion chairs per shift
• Infusion room is attached to the hem/onc clinic, with APP coverage provided by the clinic
• Every 3rd Saturday required
• Possible floating to another facility location, though rare and based on staffing needs
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ONS chemotherapy provider card required
• Minimum 2 years of experience administering chemotherapy required
• Experience accessing and deaccessing IVADs required
• Experience with PICC lines required
• Experience starting peripheral IVs required
• Experience with Alaris infusion pumps required
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Proof of flu vaccination required during flu season
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)

• Responsibilities include chemotherapy administration, medical infusion administration, blood transfusions, phlebotomy, and use of Alaris and CADD infusion pumps for home infusion therapy
• Unit-specific procedures and protocols required for this role
• One week of orientation provided, with required forms, learning modules, and competencies assigned prior to arrival
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, and local candidates are not accepted
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any BILH facility before returning
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration or it will not be approved
