Role Overview

The Sales Lead is a crucial role for the store, dedicated to client service and fashion expertise, actively representing the Oniverse Key values:

Responsibilities
  • Build genuine relationships with clients through thoughtful and consistent outreach.
  • Maintain a positive and proactive attitude in every situation to exceed client expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, using both verbal and written skills.
  • Capture customers’ information and follow up using multiple communication channels.
  • Manage client books, following up on shopping experiences and product care inquiries.
  • Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals agreed upon with the Store Manager.
  • Demonstrate full knowledge of the product to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Use fashion expertise to inspire teammates and build collaborative partnerships in a team-focused environment.
  • Support managers in executing standard in-store operations, such as daily replenishment and processing seasonal markdowns.
  • Leverage internal systems with the Manager to conduct business analyses and track store and individual KPIs.
  • Maintain visual and housekeeping standards of the store.
  • Operate POS system, conduct email, opening, and closing procedures.
  • Ensure store cleanliness: dust and clean shelves, furniture, fixtures, decor; clean doors, windows, mirrors; pick up trash; sweep and mop floors; wipe and sanitize sinks, countertops, common areas, and equipment.
  • Report directly to the Assistant Manager and Store Management to ensure high-quality customer service and efficient operations.
  • Provide training to new teammates, including cross-department functions.
  • Support new store openings across the U.S. and participate in nationwide contests.
Qualifications
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. for any employer.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service and contemporary retail (preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, committed, and goal-oriented.
  • Problem-solving ability.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Physical ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds and stand, bend, stretch, push, pull, and carry items for extended periods.
