Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Customer Service Rep

Whatwill I do?
- Possess an understanding of the products offered in the department
- Maintain the overall appearance of the department, ensure fresh product and levels are sustained, items are well‑merchandised in innovative, eye‑appealing displays and stocked in correct locations, while recognizing seasonal, holiday and weather effects on sales
- Proactively help customers, delivering efficient and friendly customer service, while providing suggestions for meal solutions, and answering any questions they may have about products
- Understand how products look/taste at peak of perfection, ensure use core recipes and techniques to provide a consistent and quality outcome
- Assist in ordering and inventory processes, utilizing ordering guides to help control inventory and shrink
- Customer service experience
- Experience working in a deli and/or using a deli slicer

Work EnvironmentWork atmosphere is classified as medium. It includes walking, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, repetitive grasping, repetitive hand and arm movements, occasional heavy lifting, bending, and reaching, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast‑paced environment. The average weight range of items lifted is 5–20 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 35 pounds occasionally.
Upper extremity repetition is moderately high and trunk movement involves moderate to moderately high twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens. The environment is indoors and involves exposure to cold (33–55 degrees) temperatures. Basic tools and equipment used include slicer, knives, scale, and packaging supplies. Customer Service experience, preferably in a food service industry, grocery or retail setting;
Experience working in a deli and/or using a deli slicer.
