Focus of the job:
Mavim is looking for a new Business Development Representative to fuel Mavim's growth in the United States market. As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll be on the front lines, sparking engaging conversations with potential clients and driving our expansion. A BDR is responsible for the generation of quality contact moments with the target audience across all on- and offline channels, according to the marketing and sales plan within the assigned market segment.
As a Business Develoment Representative, your tasks and responsibilities:
- Hunting for Opportunities – You’ll identify and research potential clients, uncover key decision-makers, and find ways to introduce them to Mavim.
- Engaging with Prospects – Through calls, emails, and Linked In, you’ll spark meaningful conversations, create interest, and generate demand for our solutions.
- Turning Leads into Sales – You’ll follow up with inbound leads (calling/e-mail/Linked In), qualify them based on key criteria, and pass them to the Sales team with valuable insights.
- Driving Targeted Campaigns – Working alongside Marketing, you’ll help design and execute account-based marketing campaigns to drive lead generation.
- Qualify leads on selected criteria and hand them over to the Sales team
- Keeping Our CRM in Top Shape – You’ll maintain and enrich our CRM, ensuring our pipeline is accurate, updated, and filled with high-quality prospects.
- Collaborating Across Teams – You’ll work closely with Sales and Marketing to refine lead qualification, improve outreach strategies, and support overall company growth.
- Sharpening Our Approach – You’ll proactively contribute ideas and strategies to make our processes smoother and more effective and contribute to the company's growth.
Required skills and qualifications:
- University Bachelor’s degree (preferably majoring in Business, Communication, or IT)
- Passion for technology
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills on and offline
- Proven track record of exceeding targets
- At least 6 – 12 months of relevant work experience
- Self-starting (Self-steering) - ownership and persistence in achieving goals.
- Tenacious - voluntary and self-motivated pursuit of learning.
- Sales supportive - professional behaviour and skill to influence stakeholders via communication
- Empathetic - showing empathy, integrity, and business ethics towards potential clients and co-workers
- Listening – able to process new information quickly and utilize existing knowledge to apply to new situations.
- Creativity - ability to think outside the box and adapt your approach to solutions.
