As a Fine Jewelry Sales Colleague, you provide outstanding customer service in our Fine Jewelry and Watch Complex, creating shopping experiences that make every customer feel welcomed, comfortable, and valued. You bring elegance, expertise, and personalized service to every interaction, helping customers find the perfect piece to celebrate life's special moments.
With a passion for fine craftsmanship and a deep understanding of precious metals, gemstones and luxury brands, you continually demonstrate superior product knowledge to educate and assist customers in selecting items that suit their tastes, preferences, and budgets.
In addition to meeting sales goals, key responsibilities include promoting loyalty and warranty programs, supporting inventory and fulfillment activities, supporting special events, and ensuring the security, accuracy, and immaculate presentation of merchandise. You collaborate with your team to achieve sales goals, support special events, and uphold operational excellence in all aspects of the Fine Jewelry department.
Responsibilities- Provide outstanding customer service and create welcoming shopping experiences.
- Demonstrate expert product knowledge and help customers select fine jewelry and watches.
- Promote loyalty programs, warranty offers, and client protection plans.
- Support inventory and fulfillment activities, including ordering, receiving, and replenishment.
- Assist with special events, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Maintain secure, accurate, and immaculate presentation of merchandise.
- Collaborate closely with teammates to achieve sales goals and operational excellence.
- Greet teammates, ensure a clean, organized sales floor, and prepare the area for customers.
- Review sales goals, new arrivals, and current promotions before opening.
- Engage customers with a warm welcome, eye contact, and friendly conversation.
- Maintain a shoppable space through proper processing, presentation, organization and replenishment of stock.
- Finish each shift by sharing loyalty benefits, ensuring customer needs are met, and closing with a sincere thank‑you.
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong communication skills with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English.
- Experience providing product recommendations, assisting with fittings and digital shopping tools.
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and driving operational excellence.
- Skill in using point‑of‑sale tools effectively, ensuring accurate stock presentation and asset protection compliance.
- Experience maintaining an organized, shoppable space and leveraging clienteling tools.
- Experience in client and protection plan sales, including opening credit accounts and promoting loyalty benefits.
- 1–2 years of related experience required.
- Talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
- Standing for at least two consecutive hours; lifting at least 25 lbs.; stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching above eye level.
- Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and handheld technology, cash register, and ability to process register transactions.
