We're seeking a Sr. Director/VP, Strategic Account Management to lead the team responsible for our largest customer relationships.
This is a high-impact role for an accomplished SaaS leader who excels at developing teams, creating customer value, and driving sustainable growth. Success will be measured by maintaining retention of 96% or higher, expanding revenue, and increasing adoption of the Everbridge platform.
What you'll do:- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Strategic Account Managers.
- Build and execute account strategies that increase retention, expansion, adoption, and long-term customer value.
- Strengthen executive customer relationships and position Everbridge as a trusted resilience partner.
- Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with Account Executives to expand existing accounts.
- Create scalable playbooks, campaigns, and training that strengthen the team's solution-selling capabilities.
- Serve as an executive sponsor for key accounts, supporting renewals, negotiations, and strategic opportunities.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Professional Services to deliver exceptional customer experience.
- Lead account, pipeline, territory, and forecast reviews, providing focused coaching and removing barriers to success.
- Deliver accurate forecasts and communicate performance, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the market, Everbridge solutions, and our competitive differentiators.
- Consistently achieve or exceed retention, growth, and broader performance objectives.
- 15+ years of enterprise software sales, account management, or related commercial experience.
- 10+ years of successful leadership experience in a SaaS sales or account management organization.
- A proven record of improving retention, expanding strategic accounts, and achieving revenue targets.
- Demonstrated success recruiting, coaching, and retaining high-performing teams.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to build trusted relationships across complex organizations.
- Expertise in consultative selling, account planning, opportunity development, and negotiation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
- Fluency in English and willingness to travel approximately 30-40%.
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, marketing, communications, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in critical communications, telecommunications, business continuity, disaster recovery, resilience, security, or related technologies.
The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Everbridge ranges from $174,000 - $249,000 and may also include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
