The Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) is a highly visible, field-based strategic marketing leader responsible for shaping commercial strategy through meaningful engagement with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and influential healthcare professionals across the MPN community.
Serving as the strategic interface for KOLs both internally and externally, the TLL engages thought leaders across academic and community settings. TLLs build trusted partnerships, connect insights across stakeholders, inform brand strategies, and identify opportunities to support BESREMi adoption.
This role goes beyond relationship management by ensuring the voice of the customer informs brand planning, lifecycle management, launch readiness, speaker development, and commercial execution.
The successful candidate brings strong hematology-oncology expertise, strategic thinking, curiosity, and agility, with the ability to build credibility externally while partnering effectively across Marketing, Medical, Sales, Market Access, and Executive Leadership.
- Lead cross-functional planning for strategic KOL engagement
- Partner closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales Leadership, Clinical Development, Training, and Executive Leadership to ensure coordinated customer engagement
- Lead KOL Engagement activities for Congress
- Recommend speakers, support speaker training, and monitor speaker programs to identify strategic updates and development opportunities
- Aligning with cross-functional partners leading ad boards to manage advisor recruitment, define strategic objectives and assist in execution when needed
- Develop regional thought leader engagement strategies that align with commercial priorities, broaden customer reach, and expand commercial influence.
- Continuously identify, prioritize, and engage both established and emerging hematology-oncology experts across academic and community settings.
- Develop new KOL relationships through proactive outreach, field presence, congress engagement, and strategic networking.
