Part Time Overnight Security Officer

Burlington, MA

$22.05 per hour

Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Secures premises, employees, and visitors during overnight hours. Conducts patrols, monitors surveillance, responds to incidents, and enforces company policies and safety procedures.

• Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure safety and security
• Monitor surveillance cameras and access control systems
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including fire, medical, or security situations
• Enforce site rules and regulations, including access control procedures for employees, visitors, and contractors
• Complete detailed written reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities
• Conduct security checks on doors, windows, gates, and equipment
• Provide customer service to staff and visitors while maintaining a professional and authoritative presence
• Work closely with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other departments when necessary

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous security, military, or law‑enforcement experience preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency for report writing and email
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations with professionalism
