Retail Security Specialist

Securitas is hiring Retail Security Specialists to protect people, property, and assets at retail client locations. In this role you will conduct foot patrols, monitor cameras, control access, and deter theft through visible presence and professional customer interaction. You will respond to incidents, follow emergency and safety procedures, and complete clear, timely reports. Responsibilities

• Provide visible security presence at retail locations to deter theft and unauthorized activity
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of assigned premises
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and report suspicious activity
• Control access to facilities, verify identification, and enforce site rules
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies per established procedures
• Document events and incidents in clear, accurate, and timely reports
• Support loss prevention efforts in partnership with client management
• Deliver professional, customer-focused service to clients, staff, and visitors
• Follow all safety, fire, and emergency protocols and regulations
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications and licenses
