Director of EngineeringLead our Email Archive portfolio—critical products that help organizations meet compliance, eDiscovery, and security needs at global scale. You’ll guide distributed teams building and operating systems that ingest, transform, and store over 50 petabytes of data in AWS and Azure, while driving modernization and cost efficiency.
What You’ll Be Working On- Lead globally distributed teams through transformation and growth, fostering a healthy, high-performing, and connected culture.
- Partner with Product Management and UX to define and deliver roadmaps that improve customer experience and retention.
- Engage directly with customers on incidents and roadmap validation; champion reliability and transparency.
- Own architecture and operations for large‑scale data ingestion, indexing, and storage with strong compliance and auditability.
- Drive excellence in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and progressive delivery.
- Leverage AI responsibly to enhance product capabilities and engineering workflows.
The Role
- 15+ years in software engineering, 8+ years in leadership roles (including managing managers).
- Proven success leading remote, distributed teams and partnering cross‑functionally.
- Ability to build strong relationships and create an environment where people feel valued and heard.
- Experience with compliance archiving & eDiscovery (journaling, legal hold, WORM storage).
- Expertise in AWS and/or Azure, multiregion deployments, and cost optimization.
- Strong background in CI/CD, observability, and incident management.
- Hands‑on experience with large‑scale data systems (ETL, search/indexing, object storage).
- Experience applying AI/ML in enterprise products with governance and guardrails.

The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is $198,000 to $260,000. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws.
