Aware, a global leader in biometrics software products, solutions, and services, seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in our Burlington, MA office.
The QA Engineer will be self-motivated and experienced with an understanding of client/server application testing for commercial software.
This position requires a team player with technical skills to quality assure commercial-grade software based upon Aware’s existing and new product releases.
The ability to shift focus quickly from one project to another and to allocate personal resources to more than one project at a time is important.
- Perform new product quality assurance and existing product quality assurance in support of the company’s technology roadmap
- Ensure the company is delivering high quality software
- Perform quality assurance on change requests in support of new customer project to help them succeed with their project goals
- Work with our Sales and Customer Support departments to provide support to our customers
- Ensure all customers have high quality software
- Interact with customers in support of their project goals
- Create documentation (i.e., test Plans and test Cases) in support of the above responsibilities
- Work collaboratively as a member of a team to achieve the above roles and responsibilities
- 2+ years of experience in quality assurance
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) knowledge
- Knowledge of manual software testing
- Knowledge about software development
- Knowledge of writing automated software tests
- Experience with Windows or Unix/Linux
Pay Range: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
