Warehouse Clerk
Location:
Burlington, MA
Duration:
Temp To Hire with the intent to convert - dependent on performance and attendance
Shift: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position has the primary responsibility of shipping both inventory and noninventory items. Ensures that the appropriate documentation and filing are complete for shipments. Completes transactions in the ERP system.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shipping
• Responsible for on-time shipment of customer orders, completing required
documentation and entries into the ERP system and external databases (export)
as needed.
• Tracks shipments, deliveries and orders using UPS, DHL and Fed Ex Online Software.
• Coordinate shipment of product to authorized sterilization company / other sub-contractors.
• Ship test samples for LAL testing, sterilization, dose audits, bio-burden testing,
and peel testing when needed.
• Understands and follows Import and Export Compliance Procedures using the Automated Export System.
• Understand and follows the comprehensive list incorporating parties REQUIRED to be screened according to the United States Government's export laws and requirements
-the MK Data Denial List.
• Receive and deliver packages and product, deliver to appropriate person or department as needed. Ensure product is not damaged and appropriate paperwork was sent with shipment as needed. Complete required receiving transactions in ERP system.
• Keep warehouse areas neat and organize
Facility / Maintenance
• Coordinate with facilities department for movement of inventory and
marketing / sales material.
• Coordinate with manager and outside vendors as required.
• Minor janitorial duties as required.
Inventory Management
• Assist with managing inventory (physically and in ERP system) of controlled and marketing items in Finish Goods Area.
• Assist with cycle counting as needed.
• Participate in process improvement activities / ERP system related items as needed
Requirements:
• Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong communication, written and organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook) and with ERP.
• Detail oriented. Capable of completing numerous computer entries accurately.
• Ability to coordinate activities with outside vendors.
• Shipping commercial product using Fed Ex, DHL, UPS, and other shipping companies as needed.
• Ability to package components, understand and follow applicable procedures
• Fork lift operation as needed
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or Client
