Imports Planner

** Position Overview*
* The Import Planner is responsible for In-Season and Pre-Season imports product planning.

** A Day In The Life*
* + Own the end-to-end import forecasting process, which includes: delivering and presenting weekly import projections, analyzing performance against plan, and bridging monthly actual results in partnership with key cross-functional stakeholders.

+ Lead the consolidation, validation, and reporting of complex shipping and purchase order data, translating large-scale operational metrics into actionable business insights that support merchandising, inventory, and financial decision-making.

+ Serve as the primary planning partner for import volume forecasting, curating and validating both preseason and in-season merchant forecasts at the class, container, and component level to ensure alignment with business objectives and supply chain capacity.

+ Drive ongoing forecast accuracy through rigorous analysis of key inputs and assumptions, including fill rates, sourcing trends, and operational performance metrics.

+ Collaborate closely with Merchandising Operations, Finance, Transportation, and Senior Leadership to develop quarterly plan updates, support long-range capacity planning, and build strategic 5-year import forecasts.

+ Utilize data-driven insights to identify risks and opportunities, recommend corrective actions, and improve forecast methodologies that enable effective inventory flow, cost management, and operational execution across the organization.
