Center for Family Services' Mosaic Early Learning Program is seeking an experienced, professional Teacher. The Teacher oversees the daily planning and execution of classroom activities, maintains the learning environment, and supervises staff, children, and classroom volunteers. The Teacher arranges parent/teacher conferences, assists children with assignments, leads small groups, and supervises children during meal times. Positions are available at our Delanco, New Jersey location.

The Teacher treats colleagues and students with respect and dignity, providing culturally competent care and staff interactions that honor diversity. They plan learning experiences, including field trips, that support intellectual and physical development while maintaining a safe and organized environment. The Teacher provides leadership to staff, promotes agency among co-workers, documents reports, ensures compliance with State and Federal regulations, completes 15 hours annually of professional development, attends required staff meetings, reviews progress with supervisors, and reports suspected child or elder abuse and neglect per New Jersey guidelines.

• High School Diploma required
• Associate’s Degree preferred with Early Childhood Credit
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred with Early Childhood Credit
• 2 years of supervisory experience in a classroom setting
• Must meet current Mosaic Early Learning Mandates
• Maintains First Aid and CPR certifications
