Center for Family Services seeks an experienced educational professional for the Teacher Assistant position. The Assistant Teacher will support the Teacher in daily classroom operations, planning, carrying out activities, and maintaining the classroom environment, including planning, record keeping and other duties as assigned.

Part Time

The Teacher Assistant treats colleagues and students with respect and dignity, promotes culturally competent care, assists students with assignments and tasks, copies worksheets, prepares bulletin boards, performs clerical tasks, keeps the classroom organized, assists with home visits and conferences, attends staff meetings, reviews progress, and adheres to Mosaic Early Learning's Performance Standards, local regulations, and the Code of Ethics. The Assistant also reports suspected child abuse and neglect per New Jersey guidelines.

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Child Development Associate (CDA) or higher, or an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• 1 year of experience in a classroom setting
• Must meet Mosaic Early Learning's current mandates
• Maintains First Aid and CPR certifications
