Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC)

The Educational Services Unit (ESU) of the Burlington County Special Services School District is seeking a qualified Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) to serve students in both public and nonpublic school settings. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in conducting comprehensive educational evaluations, case management, and Child Study Team collaboration. Strong report-writing and interpersonal skills, along with deep knowledge of assessment tools and New Jersey special education code (NJAC 6A:14), are essential.

Qualifications:

• Valid NJDOE Educational Services Certification as an LDTC (required)
• Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations and interpreting formal and informal assessments
• Strong knowledge of CST eligibility determination processes
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Effective communication and collaboration with families and school teams

Salary & Benefits:

Annual Salary/Hourly Rate Range: $64,064 - $82,487 (commensurate with education and experience)

Note:

Starting salaries typically fall within the lower portion of the range due to collective bargaining agreements.
