The Goddard School located in Burlington Township, NJ is looking for a motivated self-starter for a Assistant Director position at our school. A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, and at least 1 years management experience in a licensed childcare center is required. A candidate must have excellent communication skills, and have a good understanding of age appropriate activities for young children.

The Goddard School Assistant director is an excellent communicator, and can motivate and inspire others. The position responsibilities include:

• Supporting the center management (Director and Owner) in overseeing preschool operations including curriculum, quality assurance, and facility operations
• Developing strong relationships with our families
• Complying with state childcare licensing regulations
• Projecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Having a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education
