- Design plumbing and mechanical building systems for commercial, institutional, healthcare, municipal, and industrial projects.
- Prepare construction documents, specifications, calculations, and engineering reports.
- Develop domestic water, sanitary, storm drainage, natural gas, and specialty piping system designs.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and equipment sizing.
- Coordinate designs with architectural, structural, electrical, and civil engineering teams.
- Participate in project meetings and client presentations.
- Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction administration activities.
- Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in plumbing and mechanical building system design.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain licensure.
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes, mechanical systems, and building design standards.
- Experience preparing construction documents for commercial and institutional facilities.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
