School Nurse with Burlington Township Schools

Burlington Township is looking for a passionate and dedicated School Nurse to join our progressive, student-centered learning environment.

We seek a candidate with strong medical expertise, energetic and engaging instructional skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for fostering student growth and development.

Responsibilities include health screenings and services, emergency first aid, care of those who are ill and injured while in the school, maintenance of health records, and instruction in sound health practices.

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree

• Valid New Jersey certification (as per specific position requirements).
• Must meet NJ residency requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer literate with proficiency with Google Apps for Education and Snap Health Center preferred.
• A passion for teaching, with the ability to connect with students and create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Required criminal history background check, proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and motivated. Self‑starter. Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and demonstrate flexibility.

• NJDOE School Nurse Certificate or RN License.
