Burlington Township is looking for a positive, passionate and dedicated nurse to join our progressive, student-centered learning environment. We seek a candidate with strong medical expertise and a genuine enthusiasm for fostering student growth and development. Must promote health and safety in the school environment and provide health services to students, faculty, and staff and assist with the teaching of sound health practices.
Serve as the primary advocate for the health and well-being of students and staff within the school. Responsibilities include health screenings and services, emergency first aid, the care of those who are ill and injured while in the school, maintenance of health records, and instruction in sound health practices. In addition the candidate will play a vital part in our district-wide health team by providing essential nursing coverage for field trips and supporting our various school health suites whenever additional staffing is needed.

Valid New Jersey certification:
School Nurse Certification
Must meet NJ residency requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Computer literate with proficiency with Google Apps for Education and Snap Health Center preferred.
Required criminal history background check, proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status.
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Highly organized and motivated. Self-starter. Ability to work independently. Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and demonstrate flexibility.
