Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst
Overview
We are seeking a senior-level professional to join our Financial Reporting and Report Writing team, with a strong focus on enterprise analytics and business intelligence. This role will serve as a Cognos power user and reporting SME, supporting business stakeholders with high-impact financial and operational insights while helping guide the organization through an upcoming Cognos platform upgrade.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as Cognos superuser and analytics lead (currently on version 11.2, upgrading soon)
- Design, develop, and optimize financial and operational reports and dashboards
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders to translate reporting needs into scalable solutions
- Support enterprise reporting governance, data integrity, and best practices
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and improve performance and usability
- Collaborate with IT and data teams during system enhancements and upgrades
- Senior-level experience in financial reporting, analytics, or BI roles
- Strong hands-on Cognos experience required
- Exposure to Oracle environments (Noetix Views or similar) a plus, not required
- Technical or IT background helpful but not required
- Strong communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally
- Highly flexible hybrid schedule: 2 days in office every other week
- Collaborative finance and analytics-focused team environment

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
