Volkmann is a world leading bulk powder handling systems and machinery supplier. As part of our U.S. team, the Sales Engineer is responsible for sales of Volkmann industrial systems in a defined U.S. territory, meeting company sales goals and objectives. This role combines technical sales expertise with disciplined CRM and pipeline management. Sales Engineers work collaboratively with Inside Sales & Operations, Engineering, and Accounting to ensure accurate lead handling, forecasting, and order execution while maintaining strong relationships with customers and outside sales representatives.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position for a Sales Engineer based in Bristol, PA. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise in promoting, demonstrating, and selling Volkmann products. Responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their specific needs, developing customized solutions, and providing technical support during all stages of the sales process. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Sales Engineering and Technical Support to provide solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with clients and maintain long-term relationships.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical B2B sales experience with proven success.
- Experience selling powder handling equipment and/or process machinery is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience with Hub Spot (or comparable CRM) for pipeline, forecasting, and deal management.
- Proven ability to maintain accurate CRM data and follow structured sales processes.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and problem‑solving skills.
- BS in Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in Sales and the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities.
- Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to pneumatic conveying systems is a plus.
