Tuscan Dairy is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team.
SCHEDULE: 2 Week Rotation PM Shift
Week 2 – Thursday, Friday, Saturday 6 PM – 6:30 AM

Tuscan Dairy Farms has an immediate job opening for a facility maintenance team member who performs electrical maintenance tasks on plant utility and process infrastructure. Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, electrical components, and electronic components of machinery and equipment following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications. Works with a limited degree of supervision and completes and/or provides guidance on complex problems and/or new assignments.
Functions as the go-to subject matter resource for colleagues with less experience.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from trade school or technical school in related discipline preferred
- 4 to 6 years of electrical maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and automation system maintenance experience
- Certification and/or License – Electrician journeyman license or other location specific electrician license; master electrician preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Thorough knowledge of electrical codes, practices, techniques, tools, and equipment
- Considerable knowledge and application of national, state, local building codes, OSHA, and standard industry safety rules/regulations pertaining to electrical work
- Able to use standard hand and power tools and equipment used in electrical maintenance activities
- Able to use ladders and scaffolding in a safe, efficient manner
- Able to work from sketches, drawings, and blueprints
- Able to inspect equipment, recognize potential problems, and take appropriate corrective action to prevent component failures or equipment down time
- Able to perform complex or complicated electrical activities/repairs independently
- Able to complete projects from planning to installation
- Able to present options and ideas to current processes or procedures
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
