Performance Food Group - - - Responsibilities:
Drives a tractor trailer or straight truck and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule;
Performs all required safety checks and DOT inspections; ensures tractor/truck and trailer meet safety standards;
Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight; logs appropriate paperwork accurately;
Verifies delivery with customer and obtains proper signatures; collects payments where required;
Completes daily log of hours of service in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
