Drives a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight routes to deliver food and food related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.;
Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections per Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). inspects tractor/truck and trailer to ensure safety standards are met.;
Communicates with customers and vendors professionally and obtains signatures on deliveries.;
Unloads products from the trailer and transports items into designated customer storage areas; verifies delivery with customer and collects payments where required.;
Completes daily hours of service logs and required paperwork in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
