Crossdock Forklift Operator
The responsibility of the Crossdock Forklift Operator is to perform general warehouse activities. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: accurately receiving and uploading trailers, physical breakdown of merchandise, building and stretch wrapping of pallets. Shuttling merchandise from receiving to shipping, laydown and storage areas. Loading of product into shipping trailers. Coordinating inbound and outbound storage freight. Sorting and distributing pallets to be utilized within the warehouse.
Using hand held units to verify merchandise being distributed. Operating powered equipment including: forklift, pallet jack, tugger and clamp attachments.
Requirements
Previously forklift experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs without assistance, above 30lbs with assistance. Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes heat, cold, noise, dust. When needed working on powered equipment and standing, bending, lifting.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $25.50.
