Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable (AP):
Process vendor invoices and verify accuracy. Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents. Prepare and issue payments in a timely manner. Maintain organized records of all payable transactions. Communicate with vendors regarding billing discrepancies. - Accounts Receivable (AR):
Post customer payments and reconcile accounts. Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances. Process cash, checks, and electronic payments. Assist with month‑end AR reporting and reconciliations. Process vehicle titles and registration paperwork accurately. Submit documents to DMV in compliance with state regulations. Track title status and resolve any discrepancies or delays. Ensure proper documentation for all vehicle sales transactions. - General Office Administration:
Maintain filing systems (physical and digital). Assist with deal posting and documentation review. Support office staff with clerical tasks and data entry. Answer phones and assist internal/external inquiries. Ensure compliance with dealership policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Automotive dealership office, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and Tag & Title / DMV processing experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and dealership management systems.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Handle confidential financial information with integrity.
