Hours:
15 hours per week
- – 10 hours – Contemporary Worship Leader
- – 5 hours – Youth Ministry
Salary: $20,000–$25,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Front Street United Methodist Church is seeking a passionate, creative, and Christ-centered individual to serve as our Worship and Assistant Youth Minister. This part-time position combines leadership of our contemporary worship service with support for our youth ministry, helping people of all ages grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.
We are looking for someone who loves leading others in worship, enjoys building relationships with students, and desires to grow as a leader in a collaborative ministry environment.
This part-time position is an excellent opportunity for a seminary student, emerging ministry leader, or bi-vocational worship leader who is called to help shape meaningful worship while investing in the faith of young people.
Primary Responsibilities Contemporary Worship (Approximately 10 Hours/Week)- – Plan and lead the church’s 9am contemporary worship service (Aldersgate Service)
- – Select and play music that is theologically grounded, engaging, and appropriate for worship.
- – Manage weekly worship tech, including live stream, song lyrics, and sermon slides in Pro Presenter and Planning Center.
- – Recruit, equip, schedule, and rehearse worship team volunteers.
- Coordinate worship planning with the Senior Pastor and Associate Pastor.
- – Help cultivate a meaningful and welcoming worship experience that encourages participation and spiritual growth.
- – Assist in leading the church’s youth ministry alongside church staff and volunteers.
- – Build meaningful relationships with middle and high school students and their families.
- – Help plan and lead weekly youth gatherings, special events, and service opportunities.
- – Encourage students to grow in faith through discipleship, worship, fellowship, and mission.
- – A growing and active Christian faith.
- -A commitment to the mission and theology of The United Methodist Church.
- – Experience leading contemporary worship, including vocal and instrumental leadership.
- – Familiarity with Planning Center Services and Pro Presenter, or willing to learn.
- – Ability to work collaboratively with pastors, volunteers, and church staff.
- – Strong organizational and communication skills.
- – Experience working with youth is preferred.
- – $20,000–$25,000 annual salary, based on experience.
- – 15 hours per week, offering flexibility for seminary, another ministry position, or outside employment.
- – 10 days off each year, including up to three Sundays.
