Job Purpose

This role collaborates with Managers and Shop Technicians to support daily operations and advance organizational objectives. Responsibilities include routine reporting and analysis of shop turnaround times, conducting Engine Logbook reviews, managing engine as-built configuration, performing cost‑benefit analyses for equipment and tooling purchases, assisting with forecasting and annual budget planning, overseeing projects, and coordinating with customer service and vendors to ensure timely part and engine event turnaround.

Additionally, the position utilizes daily shop operations reports to establish priorities for supervisors, monitors shop turn times and on‑time delivery, facilitates data and metric reviews with shop leadership, resolves data discrepancies, analyzes supplier performance to verify adherence to planned turnaround schedules, and manages and coordinates quote approvals.

Key Accountabilities
  • Prepare, analyze, and maintain daily shop operations reports—including turnaround times, volume impact, and delivery performance to support supervisors in setting operational priorities
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for tooling, equipment, and project needs to support budgeting and capital justification
  • Support forecasting, annual budget planning, and financial tracking by monitoring department spending and identifying variances or risks
  • Manage Engine Logbooks and Engine Configurations
  • Track and monitor department Budgets and Business planning
  • Track and monitor department KPI’s
Minimum Education al Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Aviation Administration, Aeronautical Science, or Business Administration with Aviation emphasis

Minimum Experience
  • 1 + Year Aviation Manufacturing
  • Jet engine maintenance is a bonus
Other Job-Specific Skills
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Strong computer skills to utilize MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
  • Experience with analysis/investigative tools and systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory agency requirements to assure compliance.
  • Advanced knowledge of FAA Part 145 regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Ability to be flexible with job assignments and able to quickly master new tasks.
  • Basic understanding of safety/ergonomics to incorporate during all work processes
Working Conditions
  • Travel:
    No travel expected
  • Physical:
    Manufacturing environment with minimal desk work. Frequent kneeling, standing, reaching, squatting, bending, pushing and lifting. Some physical effort required (pushing 300+ pounds on wheeled cart; lifting 25-50 pounds.
  • Hazards:
    Risks found in typical aviation shop setting. Exposure to explosives/flammables, pressurized equipment, chemicals, moving parts, hot parts.
  • Overtime:
    Overtime expected based on project demands/responsibilities.
