Glen Raven Material Solutions is seeking an Operations Finance Manager to lead cost accounting activities, including product costing, inventory valuation, COGS budgeting, and variance analysis. This role partners closely with Operations, Design, Pricing, Purchasing, and Planning. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Director of Finance.

This is a hybrid role based in Burlington NC, with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accuracy of standard product costing and manage the annual standard cost revision process
  • Analyze cost changes and provide underlying drivers to management
  • Provide cost-benefit analysis for new and developmental products in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Support the annual business planning process, including responsibility of purchasing, inventory, and operations budgets
  • Develop and maintain COGS reporting in Power BI, with a focus on purchases, operating expenses, and inventory
  • Summarize monthly inventories, including purchase price variances
  • Support month-end close activities and perform ad hoc analysis, as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, product development, engineering, or cost accounting/finance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of product cost accounting and related financial concepts
  • Proven ability to work independently and cross-functionally
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience handling large data sets
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; experience with ERP systems and Power BI strongly preferred
