Seeking a HR Generalist to support and fuel our growth by supporting, engaging, and empowering the people who keep our manufacturing moving!

About the Role:

The HR Generalist will support day‑to‑day HR operations including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and policy implementation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, thrives in a production‑driven setting, and is passionate about supporting employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop job descriptions for a wide range of roles, manage job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation with a focus on safety, quality, and company values.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees on the shop floor and in the office.
  • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Administer health benefits, PTO, leave programs, and workers’ compensation.
  • Support payroll processes and ensure accuracy for hourly and salaried staff.
  • Assist employees with 401(k) and other benefit‑related inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Maintain HRIS platform, accurate HR documentation, personnel files and track HR Metrics.
  • Support safety compliance and training documentation in coordination with operations.
  • Assist with performance management, succession planning, and learning and development initiatives.
About You
  • Prior HR generalist experience is required.
  • Ability to build trust with employees in a manufacturing environment.
  • Effective conflict resolution and problem‑solving abilities and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency with HR software (Workday, ADP, Bamboo

    HR, Paycom, etc.).
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • PHR, SHRM‑CP, or SPHR certification is a plus.
