Automation Engineer

This position is focused on test automation and development skillsets and requires extensive hands-on experience designing, implementing and overseeing automated solutions across various platforms (web-based, client-server, service/API, etc.). Responsible to work with business analyst to understand business requirements and analyze complex processes and systems, identify test automation opportunities for implementation of effective solutions. Design, develop and/or implement automation for API/Service using frameworks such as Rest Assured with Java and UI frameworks using Selenium with Java (TestNG, Cucumber/clientD).

Experience using Gherkin language to write detailed automation test cases. Execute manual scripts and convert into automated test scripts (service and UI). Identify, plan and execute automated testing activities and ensuring that all tests meet the necessary compliance and regulatory statues, policies and procedures. Implement test automation frameworks and solutions based on the testing need. Develop and maintain quality repositories to assure quality data integrity, including IBM DB2, Oracle, SQL, S3 and other database platforms.

Experience implementing test automation scripts into Continuous Integration and Build process.

  Knowledge on AWS technologies is a plus

This resource will be 100% remote but needs to sit in the following time zones: EST, CST, or MST. This team has early meetings sometimes so someone in PST would have to be logged at 5 am in order to make that work so that is why we are targeting these time zones.
