Geek Squad Agent; Retail Store

Overview

As a Geek Squad Agent, you’ll be the first point of contact for people seeking technology support, knowledge and solutions for computers and other devices at our local Best Buy store. You’ll receive training and resources to assess customers’ needs, perform basic services, and partner with other agents for more complex repairs.

• Provide positive, timely service during check‑in and checkout.
• Diagnose technology issues by asking questions, listening, taking detailed notes, and giving accurate time estimates.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate with fellow agents.

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.

• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.
