Salary: $62,400 - $66,560 per year.
ScheduleShift: First (8 AM – 5 PM).
Responsibilities- Program Development:
Write and optimize CNC programs to create complex parts and components based on engineering specifications. This includes selecting appropriate tools, machines, and materials for each job. - Machine Setup and Operation:
Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring they function efficiently and produce high‑quality outputs. This involves testing programs and making necessary adjustments to improve performance. - Collaboration:
Work closely with engineers and machinists to evaluate project requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that machine setups align with production goals. - Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet precise specifications and quality standards. This may involve using measuring tools and techniques to verify dimensions. - Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain detailed records of machine specifications, programming notes, and production processes. This documentation is crucial for tracking changes and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. - Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest software and technologies in CNC programming. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and improve manufacturing processes. - Essential Safety:
Wear steel‑toe shoes at all times on the shop floor.
- CNC programming
- AutoCAD
- Machining (manual setup)
- Operations on mills and lathes
- HAAS machine familiarity
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a CNC programmer.
- Experienced professional with a track record in Hardinge machining centers.
