NSC Skilled Trades is seeking a Material Planner in Burlington, NC.

Job Overview:
Client is seeking a Material Planner to create, print, and distribute work orders from purchase orders using the Job Boss MRP system. This position does not handle purchasing, inventory, shortages, or production scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Set up work orders in Job Boss from the purchase order level
• Print and distribute work orders to the appropriate departments
• Read basic drawings and complete material takeoffs
• Verify work order information for accuracy
• Communicate with production and internal departments
• Maintain organized work order documentation

Requirements:

• Previous experience using an MRP or ERP system
• Job Boss experience preferred but not required; client will train
• Ability to read basic drawings
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Manufacturing or production environment experience preferred

Pay Guidelines:

• $20–$22/hour for candidates with transferable MRP/ERP experience who require training
• Up to $24/hour for candidates with Job Boss experience and strong drawing-reading skills who can step in with minimal training
