Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule:
3x12s | Weekend rotation | Holidays as needed
Experience:
Minimum 2 years (First-time travelers OK) Previous Charge RN experience preferred Mandatory Questionnaire (Required for Submission) Is the candidate aware they are being submitted to Cone and has the job description been reviewed with them? (Y/N) Is the candidate flexible with scheduling and aware of the zero-tolerance policy for tardiness/unexcused absences? (Y/N) Are there any barriers (e.g., upcoming vacation) that would prevent compliance completion by 12 Noon EST Wednesday prior to start date?
(Y/N) Is the candidate aware of the Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs at Cone Health? (Y/N) Unit Details Unit: 2A – 30-bed Cardiac Medical Progressive Care Ratios: 1:4 (drips/BiPAP), otherwise 1:5 EMR: EPIC Self-scheduling: 6-week schedule via Optilink Monitoring:
Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Dept (CCMD) Support:
Nurse Assistants 24/7, RN secretary 7a–11p Required Certifications BLS & ACLS (Required) NIH (Preferred) Required Skills Cardiac PCU experience (must be comfortable with 1:5 ratios) Dysrhythmia interpretation & telemetry monitoring Pre/Post cardiac cath care Cardiac & vasoactive drips (titration required) Chest tubes (Emerson Pleur-evac) CPAP/BiPAP, trach management PICC & peripheral line management Procedural sedation CHF, ACS, arrhythmias, pacemakers Respiratory cases (COPD, pneumonia)
