3x12-Hour Shifts (07:00 - 19:30) with a weekend rotation and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Cardiac Medical Progressive Care Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients with cardiac and respiratory issues in a progressive care setting. Duties involve monitoring patients, managing cardiac drips, and providing pre/post cardiac catheterization care.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
  • Conduct telemetry monitoring on the unit.
  • Provide pre/post cardiac catheterization care.
  • Administer procedural sedation and manage chest tubes.
  • Care for patients with complex cardiac conditions.
  • Utilize rapid response teams as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Progressive Care Unit experience.
  • Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
  • Nurse licensure must be in hand at the time of submission.
  • Must have experience with EPIC charting system.
