Travel Cardiac PCU Registered Nurse

Job Title

Travel Nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit, Burlington, North Carolina.

13‑week contract (Start: 07/13/2026) – 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts (19:00‑07:30). Night shift rotation includes weekends and holidays. Assignment in a 30‑bed Cardiac Medical Progressive Care Department focused on cardiac patients with respiratory issues. 1:5 nurse‑to‑patient ratio.

• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring.
• Provide pre‑/post‑cardiac catheterization care, including peripheral line and PICC line management.
• Administer and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Conduct procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
• Care for patients with congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, arrhythmias, and respiratory issues.
• Utilize rapid response and code teams as needed.

• Minimum 2 years RN experience in a cardiac progressive care unit.
• Prior charge RN experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS preferred.
• Must pass a mandatory EKG exam during compliance.
• EPIC experience required.
• Valid RN license.
