We are currently hiring two full‑time Med Tech/CNAs for our Assisted Living community:
- 1st Shift: 7:00am–3:00pm
- 2nd Shift: 3:00pm–11:00pm
This role combines medication administration responsibilities with hands‑on resident care. Team members work closely with nurses and other caregivers to ensure residents receive safe, quality care while maintaining their dignity, independence, and well‑being.
Responsibilities- Safely administer medications according to physician orders and community policies
- Accurately document medication administration in the electronic medical record
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the nurse
- Assist with medication reorders as needed
- Answer resident call lights and respond to requests promptly
Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility - Document resident care and services provided
- Participate in resident‑centered care planning
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team to provide excellent care
Required:
- Current North Carolina CNA certification and active listing on the NC Nurse Aide Registry
- Documentation of successful completion of an approved Adult Care Home Medication Aide/Med Tech training program
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
