ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac PCU – Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Burlington, North Carolina.

Hours: 36 hours per week (12‑hour nights)

Shift: 12 hours (night), 3x12 hours per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, including weekend rotations and holidays as needed.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a focus on cardiac patients to join our Cardiac Medical Progressive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing patients with various cardiac conditions and a solid understanding of telemetry monitoring.

• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑operative care for cardiac catheterizations.
• Administer and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration.
• Perform procedural sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
• Manage chest tubes and provide tracheostomy care.
• Utilize rapid response teams effectively.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver optimal patient care.

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit or similar setting.
• Current RN license and certifications in BLS and ACLS are required; NIH certification preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system.
• Comfortable with patient ratios of 1:5 and managing drips/BiPAP.
• Charge RN experience is preferred but not mandatory.
